In January of 2014 Moist Theatre brought our unique brand of comedy to the Comedy Bar in Toronto.

Slippery When Wet was Moist Theatre's debut full length show for our Toronto fans. The title was originally used for a show done in Hamilton, and it was such a success that when we decided on a cruise themed show, the subsequent discussion of what title we should use naturally landed on one of our favourite names.

Symbolically; Slippery When Wet has been our introduction show,  both in Hamilton and Toronto and who knows, perhaps it will resurface again if we venture into greater lands.

The process for capturing the images was relatively simple. Set up some lights and Photograph everyone over a drain with a white background and pour water on them. Putting the poster together was also a breeze as all the hard thinking was done on the original Slippery When Wet Poster, all I really tried to do was modernize the look and feel, and make it work for a 11 x 17 frame.

Specific choices made for this poster were to change the portrait windows from square to longer rectangles, so you would get a larger amount of each person per window. Shrink the text as it is the least interesting part of the poster, and create a banner with the title that resembles caution tape.

Behind the scenes photos can be seen on moist theatre's website.
