Moist Theatre Presents: Intergalactic

March came and went, and with it was Moist Theatre's second show of 2014.

Intergalactic was performed in both Toronto and Hamilton. It was a huge success and the performance of it was recorded and released in full here. The video is also edited by me.

This poster was created with a large amount of make up done before photography, and very little was changed regarding the 'reality' of what was photographed. Most changes were just lighting and colour changes.

To achieve the poster, each person was photographed at all of the angles that every other person was photographed in to ensure that the poster could be assembled in what ever way worked best. Some additional behind the scenes photo's can be found here, on moist theatre's website. The background is an amalgamation of some actual HD photo's of the sky (creative commons material) and other simple star like digital reproductions.

Color and saturation was a big part of this poster, and an overall flat and dark feel was given to this poster by taking out a lot of saturation and raising the blue's. Large contrasts and deep shadows were also essential to give the feeling of point lights, which would be the only type of light, if you could see something naturally in space.
