Apocalypse

Moist Theatre Presents: Apocalypse

From photography through to editing, the concept of a 'V' formation split into the world as we know it now, and the world that Moist Theatre would be putting on stage was what inspired this poster. Make up was simple as most work was done in post production, but the costume rip and fake blood were essential.

The show premiered in March of 2013 in the Robinson Memorial theatre. Moist Theatre showed audiences what the world could possibly look like after it ended, and how completely inept we were at surviving it.

Zombies, famine, and death were heavily seen, but most of all friendship was the biggest defining factor of this show.

The ticket was also customized in order to create a full immersive experience for the audience. A simple news article cut out was the intention. The article's content was written by Andrew Townsend to en-capsule the last article written before print was completely shut down. A dark and dreary turn for our country's future was the perfect beginning to Moist Theatre's Apocalypse.

The show combined long form scenes, short form games, and medium length narrative style scenes. The "Apocalypse" theme was only carried through during the longform scenes, so this is a completely different topic. Shown here is a medium length musical scene.
